Graduation Requirements
To be eligible for graduation, students must:
Submit an online application for degree conferral through the MyHSSU Student Portal
Complete all required clearances from their academic program and University offices
Meet all degree program requirements
Earn the required cumulative GPA for their degree
Complete the final 30 credit hours in residence (unless given approved permission otherwise)
Meet the required score on all program examinations

Eligibility for Graduation Honors
Graduating seniors who earn the required cumulative HSSU GPA, complete at least 60 credit hours in residence, and meet all academic and non-academic degree requirements may receive the following Latin Honors:
Summa Cum Laude: 3.75 GPA or higher
Magna Cum Laude: 3.50–3.749 GPA
Cum Laude: 3.25–3.499 GPA

What it is:
12Twenty is the University’s career outcomes platform where graduating students report their post-graduation plans (employment, continuing education, military service, etc.). This information helps HSSU improve career services and meet state and accreditation reporting requirements.Office Contact:

Complete Exit Loan Counseling
Required for students who borrowed federal loans.
